REMOVED - I did not write this, my google account was used and this was posted on my behalf by an upset family member. They meant well.

This is the most disgusting thing YET ever offered by Kroger. Daily Pay! Oh it sounds great, but to be honest, their employees are so STRAPPED that they cannot even wait for their weekly check. But no worries! Kroger is here to save the day!!! Now they will enable you to pull from your pay daily, because even living week to week is now become too hard to do.

I have never been so disgusted to be a Kroger employee. Where GREED runs rampant and the only love they have for their hourly employees is paper-thin and released to the media to cover their true hate for us. The fact is, their business model is geared towards you actually working for free! Am I wrong? You give everything you got but they want just a little more.

Look at McMullen's earnings, and his bonuses. Look how they close stores in places that fight to get even CLOSE to respectable pay, even HAZARD pay. Look how they bypass full screenings of new employees and put them to work, only to fire them when the results come back negative.

Look at a company that wishes to micro-manage EVERY facet of the employees and the operations and ingenuity that made them strong in the first place.

A company that feels reneging on health benefits by placing liens on malpractice suit rewards is OK to do. Yeah. You get a health benefit to keep you alive, and sue because you suffered malpractices, but WAIT! Here swoops Kroger to take back what they paid for you in benefits before you even see a dime. And they do it half-assed so they hold up the whole legal proceeding while they get to that part of the law manual that tells them what to do. Even though the benefit is guaranteed by contract. Why? Because in a couple of states it is allowed. Is it the right thing to do? NO. Is it what they will do? CERTAINLY! Kroger has become not what is right or wrong, but what makes the top end's pockets fatter.

After 38 years as a loyal employee, I have never been so ASHAMED of my life-time employer. I CRINGE when asked what I do, and who I work for. Man, I thought WALMART was bad. Almost ALL the other retailers are upping the pay for their hourly employees, but hell, you want a quarter more an hour? 50 cents? Be ready for a fight! Oh they will give it to you, then thin out your health benefits that they spent YEARS preaching is the reason for the low pay.

I will probably get fired for posting this, but I cannot keep this feeling down anymore. I wish I had taken a different path 38 years ago. I wish my wife did not have to suffer the ridiculous treatment she endures at work for a wage that is barely above minimum wage. After 30 YEARS! Our union? LOL! They cruise around with their 80k a year salaries doing really nothing. It's all a joke. Embarrassing!

My 2-ANGRY-cents worth. Thanks for listening!!!

Yup it sucks but I do the bare minimum at work and have been for years and Im pretty happy and chill now. Some days Ill challenge myself to do as little as possible its fun
