She just started at my store as store manager and she's already causing trouble. She seems very inflexible and seems to think that all departments should be able to follow Kroger guidelines to the letter regardless of whether they are adequately staffed or not. If you did work with her, I'm curious to know how many people worked in the bakery department each day and how many hours the department got. Some days we only have three people. All our closers, except for one, quit. And she only works one day a week. Yet we are still expected to have everything full by 9:00 AM each day.

Yeah I remember that ho. We bumped uglies in the back room racks.her **** was dry but I had brought up some Kroger brand jelly all went well after that. She definitely a c unt at times.
I don't know her so I cant say anything about her...however we've had managers that are "inflexible" and opened up employee work availability without discussing it with said employee first.

I've NEVER heared of ANY manager "asking permission" to modify an employee's work schedule. I NEVER knew they "needed" permission from.subordinstes in their store for anything. With them being MANAGERS and all...

That is how they want all STR Managers to be, no excuses, only results. She has been around a while, she previously had positions at Corporate and Division levels, before the multiple of restructuring.

The STR's that came from Corporate and Division levels are some of the worst. They have no clue how a store works in the real world.

True, but she has also been a STR Manager for at least 5+ years. With being in a new Divisions she now has to "prove" herself to a new group of leadership. I wonder why she transferred, I believe she was originally from that areas, but had been in the Cincinnati region for 10+ years.

I never had an issue with here, but I would guess she could be hot or cold to some people. Remember, she has to establish herself in the eyes of the Division Leadership, so she will be on everyone and everything for a little while. Is the store she is at a decent store? She came from a store in a suburban high end neighborhood...

So naturally she's going to expect the same from a "low end" store. Especially if the store she came from was originally "low end" and she turned it into a high end store. That has has happened in the past.
Also corporate had store managers in our district visit a high end store and then sent out an email stating there is NO reason for us to NOT be on scale or near scale to the store they visited. Having no staff does NOT matter (in corporate eyes) so our store manager went on a hiring spree, he said "if they want high end, I will hire more people. If they dont like it, then we cannot push to be high end"
