No, Not a good idea.

If LP figures it out, you could get fired for theft.

If co workers find out, they will snitch on you eventually.

The customers can get a new card from the cashier and throw it away when they are done.

Just use Insta-Cart number or some random number. (444-444-4444 for instacart) (555-555-5555 for Doordash). They wont get the fuel points, but theyll get the store sales.

Employees have been fired over the loyalty card so if you want to risk getting fired over some fuel points then have at it.

They wont find out or even care. Ive been using my dads kroger card for almost 2 years off and on. Been saving 2 bucks a month and filling up both cars with gas with each dollar.

That is different.  You are related.  It might be frowned upon if you live separate from your dad.

Doing this for complete strangers is a bad idea.

LP is fundamentally lazy.  Thing is, they are spread so thin they have to be.

Given that LP really only goes after associates, this isn't even a good way to get fired.

Make them earn it.

No. It's not a good idea. This could be considered money laundering for gas points. People have been fired for it before.

Your kroger number is good for direct family and those you live with. The company provides courtesy cards for you to use for customers. By no means you are not allowed to use your own personal one for customers. Even if they befriend you to use it. You can also be written up for sweet hearting.

Our fes recently got his ear chewed out for sweet hearting. Customers developing social relationships with employees to gain profit from it. By kroger policies and procedures this is a writeable offence. I'm glad he finally got chewed out on this because it was making some clients really difficult to deal with. After fes told them he could no longer honor stuff like that they stopped coming in. Gee I wonder why? No favortisim, no sweet-hearting.

You'll eventually get fired for money laundering of gas points. Don't do it. I worked with someone in my area that did it and they eventually got fired for money laundering. If you rack in high points too long loss prevention will look into it. I hope you're not working at my store or you will get an investigation. I got multiple people fired for pulling half @$$ed stunts like this.

Ehh I wont get caught and even if I do it will be a slap on the wrist. This is a throw away job anyway only here for my benefit alone.
