even when corporate came to check in on the store, this old man at my store literally said "no im not cleaning anything over here" when the woman at self checkout with him asked him for help cleaning. then he just walked off and went to gossip with the other old, miserable, lazy hag. corporate doesnt even give a ****, they just want to the store to look pretty.

I mean I do the bare minimum as well. Im just there for the check I dont give a **** about customer service or doing my job accurately hell I set my standards low working here. but I dont care at all to bother others or pick on people or narc on others. Like every where i ever worked black people never do more than the min. i not racist this coming from experience. ex. night stock indianapolis kroger black man named derek anderson been with the company almost 20 years shift from 9-5am he gets the min done stops at 4am. others are working till 6am sometimes. he leaves his aisles half assed sits gets the free hour till 5 ,30 minute breaks, breaks the toliet every week, leaves a mess behind, clutter carts and pallets, if items falls kicks it under etc. thats only him check out the ones you work with. have u seen any head stocks that are black. how many dept heads. kroger wont fire because of waffle house type laws. im not afraid to say it. i rather have mexicans working with me that cant speak english than a black man with 20 years exp. theres more but thats enough

I dont see it racist at all but its rather funny. Love the part with just kicking product under the shelves lol thats pretty terrible. And taking long breaks thats something I see almost daily where Im at.

Yep, I worked with a guy once. He hardly did anything for 3 months. All of management was aware and could do nothing. He never got fired. Only moved to another department. I often looked down on him. Then, once day, it occurred to me that we were both getting paid the same, but he was doing 10% of the work. So, who's the genius here?

We have a guy now that is really slow. dept manager told him okay you have 2 hours to put away these 86 cases. He started at 220 am got gone at 510 and he still had to front half the aisle like seriously. I now work at his speed as well because apparently its okay. 6 am Im out dont care whats on the floor
