Long term karma finally catching up to a coworker of mine.

I hate to gloat but:

There's at least one not nice person in every store. There's at least one @$$ hole in every store. I've been working with a gal who is not a very nice individual. She thinks she has it made working a 40 hr a week position set schedule and can pick her desired days off. The company recently eliminated her position because they realized that it was wasting money on a completely useless position. That could other wise be automated. The hilarious part is she is lower in seniority than I am. She's basically a bully in the front end and I've seen many a staff quit due to her arrogance. She has been moved to the front end as a cashier to fill the hour gap. She no longer has a set schedule that is 40 hrs a week. She now has to pick shifts on the select a schedule just like everyone else. She gets all the shi-tty 4 hr shifts no one else wants. She's realizing that she no longer can work the 6 am to 230 pm shift. She's now doing the shi-tty cashiering shifts no one wants. She's being forced to do the short 4 hr closing shifts now because no one wants to pick them. She's treated the staff horribly for years like a bully would in high school until they're called out for it. Karma's a bi-tch ain't it?

Yalls union contract sucks ass. I've heard of people loosing their positions before, but never such a drastic hour cut.

She was one of those coworkers that was not nice and sort of a bi-tch to deal with. I really don't feel sorry for her.

The select-a-schedule got taken a way from here too. I'm glad as she never got it done in a timely manner. Then hara-ssed the staff about not filling it out on time.

She also went from the full time position to the two days a week off to cover the days off of the other coworker. Now she is being replaced by someone younger with less experience. She is now pushed into other areas for hrs and fighting to get them. Gotta love karma.

That's not karma.  There is no karma.

That's just Kroger.

Even good employees get treated that way around here too.

That's the so-called "labor crisis" in a nutshell.

People are prone to mental burnout more than physical burnout, as I see this situation, it just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time

You can support her if you want but she's basically been fired from the position. Remember the high school blond girl bullies. That never grow out of that roll and continue to use that in their work. That's her. She has had numerous customer complaints and often lacks the social skills to assist in certain customer situations.
