so a store manager can get over a week off of vacation time as well as a grocery lead and a GM lead. but a tenured grocery stocker who has had every title 'position' under the sun and over 26 years of service tries to take some time off and he gets a whole two days off? this company is full of ****. thanks for scheduling me friday, ya dip****s I won't be there.

Each state is different but most states allow sick pay on day one now. This company has always required people to use their vacation time before sick pay. If you're going on medical loa you can use sick pay.
After 1 year you can start to accrue sick pay and vacation pay.
Sick pay equation works out to 8 hrs for every 40 hrs worked.
Vacation pay is based upon union contract. It is a lump sum accumulation of your yearly hrs. Most people average 2.5-3.5 weeks if almost full time.
Fyi large 500k corporations are not your friend. Bi-tch about it to someone else.
