Actually had 2 bad managers before I left. One just talked real tuff sometimes you try to tell him something he would look at you and say shut up. This guy even if you told him something important he would say shut up.
I told him about something one day and he said Shut up. Also something was said to him one day he was on the back dock where the compactor is smoking. He threw his cigarette butt in the compactor. I told him you really should not do that it could cause a fire his response shut up. One day I called him over the P.A to open the Compactor Door. He never came 5 minutes he never came. I called again he never came 5 minutes I called again he busted in the backroom and said GD "My Name" I am on my way. I told him not to ever say that to me again. He was pretty upset and tried to close the door and leave me outside I told him if he closed that door I was gonna get in my truck and go home.
Has anyone had a mean mouth manager like this? And the next manager did not stay long then we got another mean one and he was really hateful also.
As for the unlocking the door I know there are set times but he told me to not leave trash because it smells and to call him. So I only did what he said I called him.
I should have reported the last manager because of a major compactor issue sanitation problems mold in the back restroom etc he nev er would address the issues.

I look intimidating so I dont ever have problems if I did but if that manager told me to shut up I would have told him go **** yourself and say that **** to me again. Think the closest some store manager tried to get loud was when he was asking this lead and I was just talking to the lead.. well who did frozen? it Was thrashed not faced at all. I said dont blame me idk and he said what did you just say? I said dont blame me I only worked there for 2 days and last night wasnt one of them. he said you cant talk to me like that with a mild tone. so I said I can say or talk how ever I want to anybody when people like you try to raise your voice at me. he just didnt have a come back lol You should have reported that manager though. maybe you should have stated a fire in the compactor and blamed him and told ppl you tried to warn him but he told you to shut up.
If you have issues with your uppers file a report https://secure.ethicspoint.com/domain/media/en/gui/16000/index.html
Doesn't help kroger has low standards on whom they employee. I can see why certain companies require more education. To prevent b.s. stories like this.
Kroger pays so terribly that you aren't going to make any less at McDonald's. Think about that.
If you can work a computer or phone good enough to get here, you can get a CompTIA certificate. And then maybe a job that's less embarrassing.
You can do better. And deserve to. Get it together bud.
Now days going to school gettingCompTIA certificate is a waste of time. I can build desktops I have replaced motherboards replaced hard drives upgraded/replaced memory. I have built my own desktop and I have reinstalled Windows so many times it's not funny.
What is a CompTIA certificate going to give me? I am not good at math I tried to go to Tech School for computers. I could not pass the math test. I talked to the guy that taught computers he even told me a bunch of that math was a waste of time.
Right now I could start working on computers in my home. A friend of mine last week called and had 3 Laptops needed to have Windows reinstalled. He thought it was spyware.
I told asked him how did all 3 get spyware? I told him I would charge $50.00 a piece. I sent him a Windows 10 USB for him to reinstall. He reinstalled it and I get the idea they are still slow because now he is looking at buying SSD Solid State drive. I told him right off they had hard drives they are slow and SSD's were the way to go. So I guess the Laptop's are still show.
So yes I do not need a CompTIA certificate. I am self taught and I also have learned allot on YouTube.

SSD for a laptop is a big waste of money
If you want to increase the performance of a "slow" PC then recommending an SSD is fine. Those 2.5in HDDs can be okay but with the way that windows wants to load and put stress on systems SSDs are almost mandatory.

@BagBoy
The troll is just wanting to troll he knows nothing about computers and he knows what I said about ComTIA is right and he is mad and just has to say something negative. I guess I will put the slow hard drive back in and send it to him and let him see how slow it is. It's not a waste of money. Now days they come standard. If you mean it's a waste to upgrade an old Laptop your still wrong. My Laptop is from 2014 and memory is maxed out at only 8 GB and it was still slow so I got an SSD it's still slow but not as slow it's just a i3 CPU so it's as fast as it's gonna get. Yes I badly need a new one. This one from 2014 7 years old same factory battery hold about 2 hours charge it's the factory battery. Keyboard been replaced twice. Maybe it holds a charge because it has a SSD not a spinning drive killing the battery.
I will get another Laptop soon but not a new it will be refurbished from like 2017. One that I can easily upgrade Probably a Business model HP ProBook or Dell Latitude. Not buying s brand new consumer grade they are junk. I rather have a good off lease refurbished.

At some point you're gonna have to recommend an upgrade. My cutoff for refurbishing older PCs and Laptops is 5 years. I can do what I can with making the computer lightweight (like running wpd.app or Windows 10 Debloater ) but after that you need to consider upgrading. It was a hell of a challenge to get my father to upgrade his computer just due to "the numbers are lowers" and me having to explain that it's actually better to have 8gb of DDR3 than 10gb of DDR2 and that upgrading from a Phenom to Ryzen was actually worth the money.
BTW, WPD is a legit program that you should look into if you have the chance.

Never hesitate to use the ethics hotline. At first I let cr-ap like this go but now I don't give a fu-ck. If you file enough the manager will loose their job in the long run.

Thanks I downloaded WPD and ran it on my Desktop. I understand about the cutoff and before anyone mentions Windows 11. I think I will be skipping it from what I hear they may be doing away with passwords and you either have to use fingerprint or Windows Hello. Not gonna happen I will keep using passwords And I heard there was gonna be a Feature Update Windows 10 21h2. I am on Windows 10 21h1 now. And also Windows 11 will be released. Or maybe Windows 11 will be 21h2 but that's kind of dumb because support for Windows 10 will end in 2025. Has this turned into a Computer Thread? Fine with me I love computer discussion's.
