Any other stores notice that starbucks is having staffing issues along with deli?
In the past starbucks use to fine kroger for kiosks being closed for more than 24 hrs. I guess 3+ days in a row is okay now??? We lost about 20% business from our morning starbucks customers obtaining their coffee or pastries.
Deli is just as short staffed. During the week day it isn't uncommon for the deli to shut down by noon or 2 pm. If there's a closer they can open but the fried food does not get made because it is past the time frame it will be sold.
Front end isn't as bad but kroger refuses to schedule more than 1-2 cashiers at a given time. We might have some cross over when the am/pm shifts overlap but that's it. Cusotmers are going back to being pis-sy about having to wait in line.

Starbucks I do not see why people even support them. I call them Star Poops. :) :)

Deli staffing has always been a problem, if not purposefully so. The union makes it difficult to fire bad employees. Smart ones can at least leverage their experience.
Much as with fuel, at least several stores in my city have outright closed their deli departments until they can find literal retards to work worse jobs than fast food for less money.
We aren't fancy enough for a Kroger with Starbucks around here.
Well, the coffee shop next to us, was closed for several days out of the week, when they used to be open seven days...They used to be open till 5 PM most days...Now, they close at 12 or 1 PM, if that tells you anything...More and more of this everywhere, too...
