I was in for 15 years.. my 1st 2 were fine, I enjoyed helping people. After that it was all down hill. By the end I was literally ready to kill mufukaz and hide their bodies in the back yard drainage pond.
A lot of this is coming from factory strikes and the trucker covid revolt. For those reasons I don't mind doing without salteen crackers and my favorite cookies. First World problems lol
Why can't people actually connect the dots? So if there is a worker shortage, then there is less product or items on the shelf, due to production, transportation or last mile workers (retail). Their response "They should pay people more", but don't then think after that. So places are paying people more, GREAT!...but then they start complaining about inflation and price increases. Do people not understand, one change to an interconnected system DOES EFFECT EVERYTHING in the system?
I love how politics are all about how CHINA is horrible, challenging the US...etc. HEY.....you know how much the US spends in China for production of are normal every day items. I don't think it was a common practice to send $$$ to USSR during the coldwar. In reality, I don't understand how people are not up in arms to BY AMERICAN. You know if items are actually produced locally, they don't have to get shipped around the world.
Title says it all. I'm getting tired of people chewing me out over sh-it we have zero control over.
It's a two year old tactic to throw a tantrum over something when you can't get your way.
Another overpaid, lazy, piss poor associate.
If there is no control over the shipping lanes being blocked and the truckers on strike which also affects the stores not receiving any product, and therefore not being able to place the unrecieved product on the shelves, how does not having control over any of that make the employees lazy? The employees cannot tell the shipping lanes nor the truckers to do anything different.

Obviously another numbnut who doesn't get it...Either that or a very boring troll whose broken record should have stopped playing YEARS ago...Good job calling workers lazy when it's not even their problem we're in this mess...Sorry, but when you order a 500-piece truck and 250 of those items are cut from the order, there are going to be shortages, plain and simple...Do plan for more of them, too, for the foreseeable future...You might not like it, but facts are facts and reality is reality...

Typical lame excuses. Another pathetic associate shifting blame to others. This is why Kroger has gone down the drain in recent years. Its really sad

Yeah whatever...Go live in your fantasy world! I, on the other hand, choose to see REALITY! And if you think this is just a Kroger problem, I've seen plenty of empty shelves at Aldi and signage explaining WHY, too, so no, people need to pay more attention to current events and do some deep reading on the issue...
By the way, customers are not just complaining about the shortages, but the prices going up as well...If you think I have control over THAT, then you're out of your mind! I have a hard enough time saving $$$ on my own to worry about jacking up the costs for everyone else...
