So I got hired for Grocery going on week 3 now and the HR who hired me asks me if I would consider a transfer? I ask why she said theres no hours to give. I mean why hire me then and tell me this now? Seems like a way to pawn off people to other stores. Tough **** im not transferring.

I do not get it either. My niece works at Best Buy in California, and she has a child not in school. So, she can only work weekends at Best Buy. That was agreed on when she was hired. She has been there a couple of years. She was told this past Christmas season that they wanted her to help do hiring. Now that it is the first of the year, they cut her hours. If she worked in the week and put her child in daycare the cost of daycare would take what she makes. So, it makes no sense for her to use daycare.
My point is places are crying for help they hire all these people and then say no hours. And I know Kroger works the same way has for years before the virus.
