Interesting. I am hearing and reading that there is great controversy whether this was a REAL, unrehearsed act, or if it was actually a well-crafted staged HOAX.
It may be real, since his joke evidently had something to do with Will Smith's better half, who actually DOES have a disease that is causing her to go bald. Will Smith was actually laughing at first, then he looked over and saw that she was NOT amused. Maybe he felt obligated to show that he was a MAN and needed to stand up for his wife. But was his anger for real???
But just keep in mind that the whole room was full of ACTORS. That's WHAT THEY DO for a living. How can we be sure this wasn't a big setup????
I did see him hide a smile when he said "keep my wife's name out of your f*ckin' mouth!" I dont know if it's real or not... I thought I saw Jada try and not grin.
