All write ups and grievances stay in your file, unless you indicate you want/expect them removed. In reality, you want them in your file, you can prove an ongoing issue if something happens in the future.

Kroger maintains secret records and will give you what it wants. No ethics and the law be damned. NO ethics.

Sounds similar in what happened to my sister. She had her husband come in and "shop." The one stalking and harassing my sister was there that day and the husband had a talk with him. Basically said that if it continued the guy would need a dentist and my sister laughed and asked if she could watch. She got suspended and then pressed charges against kroger. Turns out she was in legal rights and kroger was not.

She was "let go" a short time after due to  "no hours." Fine by her. She works at Costco and makes more money there anyways.

Our Admin's husband SUED Kroger because an employee threatened to kill her. This was long before I was hired. The person in question still kept their job, Kroger paid out a bunch of money but she had to sign a non-disclosure that she wouldn't talk about it (when I asked her about any settlement.)
