This happened recently about 1 month ago? If anyone from store spoke too soon publicly without covering the store division and store itself...then we will all know...it's a small town.
Few or some or many customers claimed they got sick because of a cashier (racial discrimination). Heard whispers from co-workers talking about the cashier should get tested for Covid-19...The nicest cashier(s) asked if the cashier got tested because the media is focused on "those people"- Honesty, A STORE IN division 701 gets away with racism and blames the cashier for the customers' behavior....
Pretty sure someone from management bribed. Even one of the former P.I.C. from front end department had bribed customers to behave a certain way...they call them "volunteers"
My division idk yet. I just started working here but honestly alot of the people I met treat everyone like family and friends. I havent met everyone in other departments. Whoever that cashier is honesty I'll report it to HR but then again HR was probably bribed as well. Her/His only option is to quit but look for another job and once they say they're hired. They need to quit.
my division had this happen as well look, this guy talking about every where he ever worked black people never do more than the min. hes says hes not racist this coming from experience. ex. night stock indianapolis kroger black man named derek anderson been with the company almost 20 years shift from 9-5am he gets the min done stops at 4am. others are working till 6am sometimes. he leaves his aisles half assed sits gets the free hour till 5 ,30 minute breaks, breaks the toliet every week, leaves a mess behind, clutter carts and pallets, if items falls kicks it under etc. thats only him check out the ones you work with. have u seen any head stocks that are black. how many dept heads. kroger wont fire because of waffle house type laws. he said hes not afraid to say it. he said hed rather have mexicans working with him that cant speak english than a black man with 20 years exp. theres more but thats enough. Just appalled
