Let me explain: If you are FOR free speech, you are WILLING to permit input (comments, feedback, opinion, ideas) that you HATE and totally disagree with, and even though you really don't want to hear it, BUT you still understand that everyone has a right to be heard at the "round table" or "forum" or "platform". That is what the concept of free speech is.
The only reason why you wrote that sentence is because you want to paint Conservatives with a broad brush and pretend they are STUPID. (or evil, or dangerous or whatever). Ridiculous. That's the arrogance of the leftist mindset. Conservatives prefer less intrusion in the lives of the people. They prefer lower taxes, smaller government, free speech, less government regulations (some that are so crazy they are unworkable and cause many small businesses to fail). They want basic laws and rules that are sensible.
Conservatives don't want teachers from kindergarten to the third grade teaching their children about sex and gender. That is not an age-appropriate subject for any small children. If they have questions about sex and gender, they can ask their parents at home.... the teacher has no business trying to teach their kids those kinds of sensitive topics. It would have been unthinkable just a few years ago for a first grade teacher talking to her students about sex!!!! And that is what the Florida law is about that was just passed by governor Ron DeSantis. And most people have no idea what that law is about because the corrupt media pretended it had something to do with "don't say gay", they labeled it that way to try and brainwash the average people who have no curiosity on the details of something, don't read the fine print, and have no idea what the law was about!!! Unbelievable.
YES, of course there are crazy extremists on both the right and left (conservative and liberal) but the truth is that Twitter has STRONGLY been censoring Free Speech for several years now by banning and canceling viewpoints they disagree with. That is the mark of the LEFT which is aligned with Communism, Socialism, Fascism and Marxism. That is, the ideology of NORTH KOREA, NORTH VIETNAM, VENEZUELA, CUBA, CHINA, RUSSIA and other countries where there is little or NO free speech. You criticize the government, or certain beliefs or ideas that go against the "accepted narrative that you are supposed to automatically accept" and you can be imprisoned, persecuted or KILLED. This is no joke. People go missing all the time in Russia, China, North Korea and no one knows what happened to them.
The "soft, nice version" of leftism is what is going on now in the US. The left tries to shut down dissent, twist the words and intents of conservative thought, get people fired, ruin their life, some people end up losing their jobs, homes, livelihood, reputation - just because they say something that the left doesn't like. This is not a good thing - it is the opposite of true freedom.
Twitter tried to silence the New York Post news story about Hunter Biden's laptop, in fact they pretended it was most likely some fake Russian disinformation, Twitter lied........ The laptop computer story was absolutely true, and Twitter tried to hush it up back in the fall of 2020 right before the election.
Because of their suppression of that legitimate story by Twitter and other left leaning sites (which has strong implications concerning the Bidens and their fishy financial dealings in Ukraine, and info that casts doubt on how much Joe Biden knew and when he knew it) Twitter actions helped steer the election in Biden's favor because most Americans did not know about that story.

So basically he's saying everyone should have a voice as long as they promote chosen political elections? If that's so, then it's not really freedom to have a voice like what's being said.
