Since our pay went up $14 I'm part time and this week 3 of my days have been 3 hours. Sunday, today, and Friday 9-12. Question is Will I get paid? I talked to my manager and he said it's already put into the system so it can't be redone.
That's about $126.00 BEFORE taxes. Plus union dues if you union. If you are union your store MUST abide by the contract. So therefore if the minimum hours you are allowed to work per contract is 24 hours, then by all means help yourself to the rest of the hours to equal the minimum. Just be sure to work only the days you are scheduled.
I just signed the union contract today. H&R has been in our store for this whole week due to managers and employees calling off and we're (all retail jobs) are understaffed so they've been sorta helping out.

Most contracts state a minimum number of hours you can be scheduled per shift. My store is 4 hour shifts. They must pay you for 4 hours even if they give you a write up and send you home. Check your contract. Plan to work 9-1.
By law they're to pay you. Unless you're special needs (generally low functioning) shifts must be a minimum of 4 hrs per labor laws. If they're constantly scheduling you 3 hr shifts contact your union rep to end it. My first store did this and I contacted the rep and he ended it. By u.s. law they are to be a minimum of 4 hr shifts.
Did the time clock let you clock in? Did it let you clock out?
If yes, probably.
If not, probably not.
If you aren't blood related to the store secretary, the time punch edit log doesn't exist. Which is fine, because you aren't otherwise allowed access to it.
It's not even a good family club. Not even a good family.
