I was in Kroger and at self-checkout one of the supervisors was talking to another. She said something like I called _________ about coming in. She said _________________ The other supervisor said she is just trying to be funny. I was thinking no if she smarted off, she is probably tired of them calling her. I did not pick up on what was all said but the part I heard was funny. I know how they are they will not leave people alone when they were off. I did see people working who are usually off on Saturday. I bet Kroger is making everyone work today and did not accept request off because of Mother's Day tomorrow.

I rarely answer the phone on my day off if it's from Kroger. One time income in the following day I was scheduled and was bluntly told "oh. I didnt know your phone was "broken." Because you NEVER answered a call." I responded with "my phone was never 'broken'. I was busy that day with my "friend" Mr. Nunyab. (Nun ya business).
Did they get mad? Yep. Did I care? No.

I've told them straight up ahead of time that I never answer the phone unless I want to talk to the person on the other end. If I don't recognize the number or if do recognize the number and don't want to answer, I don't answer it.

If you are considering applying with this company, please don't. Let them invest in robots and see how that goes.
