Well what did you put as availability? If you already made it clear that you cant work such times and days guess what? he better find another person to work that. you should always take a picture of the schedule thats posted. then when they try to change it nope too bad its already posted and you cant do that.
Minimum of 48 hrs notification for schedule changes. Management can't just pencil you in they must also inform you. Schedules are always subject to change to the fluidity of the business needs and requirements. Read the scheduling union rules in your contract. If they're trying ot use this to fire you or punish you with hr reductions do file a union grievance. I had a manager do this to me then harass me about skipping shifts I knew nothing about. I contacted my union rep and they had a "talk" to her about it. All the penciled in shifts were reclassified as clerical error.
