When anything is stolen from a company (no matter whether it is taken by an employee or a customer) it just adds to the burden the company has to bear, and it all adds up over time.
Sooner or later, the company will raise the prices of their products - more and more. It may take a while, maybe weeks, months or years down the road, but it will GET WORSE and you are NOT helping the situation at all. You are only making the situation worse. For everyone and for yourself.
That's the truth. Stealing is wrong, it is immoral, it hurts everyone and it hurts you ----- in the long run. Think about it. I know I'll get some pushback from you all that think that stealing is justified because Kroger and other corporations are evil and corrupt themselves. They are corrupt, but stealing from them only makes things worse.
And everybody eventually gets paid back for their actions, whether they be good or evil. Payback comes. That's a fact.
Yesterday's headlines read 'in spite of the greatest inflation in decades, comsumer spending up highter than it's ever been'.

The only 'payback' I'm getting comes in redeeming all the spiked pricings on everything we've all already been paying way too damned much for. I haven't even addressed taxes, which is another pre-French Revolutionary debacle that is quickly simmering to a boil.
