It's great to know the customers whom used to worked for kroger when kroger purchased more retail stores. They tell me how better it was back then and the prices. It's also good to meet former employees whom understand how kroger operates, though, some former employees are loving the toxic culture.
Also there's a group of customers whom think they know the operation when they never worked at kroger. Customers shouting to employees when we are awaiting for manager override and void mean waiting for manager to walk to cashier...customers think they know how to operate the store.
Then there's customers whom will lie to get new cashiers out. Regular cashiers are aging, needing vacation, time off from work, and sick days. Customers want to see new face but are relying on per-judgement added with the whole " I am old" excuse to cover your behavior. Can't teach an old dog new tricks... Even can't demand an mid-age dog to behave better when they're already well behaved.
