I'm a college ( Sophomore) new hire and been here for 5 weeks almost 6 when Thursday hit and and I've been doing the work that two ppl maybe more can do. These high school new hires just stand around and talk to one another instead of working. I already told my manager they they're slacking and not doing anything. HECK I seen a customer ask them a question and they both just looked at the customer and turned around. The customer came to me and ask the same thing and I walk her to the aisle of what she needed. When the carrot wall was empty I ask one of the boys to fill it up because I was clocking out in 15 mins to head home but they still slack off. Ugh annoying

You seen a customer? No, you saw a customer. Never use the perfect tense form of a verb without an auxiliary verb.
I have seen. He has seen. I had seen.

Don't do their job for them. They'll see that and take advantage of it.
Let your department head as well as management know about these slackers.
You have seniority over them. Use it when you give them a task.
If they start whining about how they're being treated point them toward the door and tell them bye.
This company isn't all that it's cracked up to be but the work still has to be done.
Due to how ****ty the company is and the union pay grade; this is all the company wants. The lowest in society coupled with high schoolers. It's rare to actually get a decent employee that wants to stay long term.
I don't know why people bi-*tch about cut hours. I have always managed to pull in 40+ for years with full availability while only selecting the fullest shifts not caring about the shift time. Be on call and be flexible for shift changes. When you restrict your availability you heavily limit your hours. This is how I paid my 250k mortgage off in < 4 years. 50+ hr work weeks.
How's your lower back and glutes? Hurting from bending clear over like that, right?
lol you jackass, why you puttin' up with that **** for FIVE SECONDS?
Yea gotta support this guy post 100%. If you ask them to do something and they shrug it off then why are you still working yourself to death? Kroger is a throw away job anyway. these are the jobs you just slack off at to earn some money and just be lazy. sounds like you could learn a thing or 2 from them cause their working the system nicely

Well we dont like you either. Us high schoolers will just do the bare minimum. I mean **** I do. Why should I work hard or finish up when I know youll do it cause youre a simp? Anyways thanks simp.
It's not just hs-lers, I was in my late 30s when I worked for wm and I fkin HATED customers and would routinely fk with them too. 'oh, that's in aisle 6' was my infamous answer to every query.
Ditto with the bust my ass thing. Why. They don't but yo wallet with the pay.

Best attitude to have when working these places. I mean look, were not gonna be here forever like you old time smelly lifers its just that simple. We have other plans in life besides working for Kroger till death. Dont be jealous of us.
