Scam at the Fuel Center

Customer comes in claims they have for example 600 fuel points. Same said customer comes back a week later and says they have 150. Customers are taking reciepts from others that have high point balances and claiming them as their own. Is this happening at your store fuel clerks?

Regardless if this is a scam or not the way you can prove this is by asking them to enter their number. Computer would expose the lie right there and then. The nice thing abt gas points is that at the cashier level we have zero control over it. They would have to call the 800# to assist them and you know they wont do that.

All day every day.

"I'm sorry, it says you don't have enough points.

Call the number on this slip and they'll give you your points back."
