The company acted too soon to go back to normal pre-covid store hours. Our staffing is so little we often end up forcing customers through sco because we have a lack of cashiers. Boy do customers get irritated and rude about going through sco. Customers: stop taking it out on the staff member that actually shows up to work. It's not our fault no one wants to work.
Side departments are still closed frequently through out the day due to lack of staff.
Due to lack of livable wages people end up quitting after 8-15 months for a job up the road that offers $15/hr or more starting pay.
People call out "sick" left and right and often just play hooki from work. Few of them are honest about it.
Staff is spread so thin that it is very noticeable when people call out sick. More than once our store has had to close at 8 pm due to staff calling out. And the 4th manager can't be in the store by them selves alone.
Staff that wants to work is being over worked. Thus adding to mental/physical exhaustion. Staff is forced to work more than they want to and days off are not 100% guaranteed any more.
I am so tired of customers bit--ching about there being 8 registers and 1 register open.
I am so tired of customers bi--ching about there being zero registers open after 7/8 pm and acting like @$$ holes over it.
If a side department is closed: Please stop harassing the front end associate about there being zero staff in that department. Yes we know it's affecting sales. No you don't need to act like an @$$ hole over it.
Product is still unreliable at best. Covid affected the supply chains for 2-3 years and it'll probably take up to 6-8 to recover from it until we start getting back to a semi normal reliability in product. Sorry customers, I understand food is identity and we have picky eaters but didn't your mother ever tell you to adjust when you don't get your way? apparently not. Instead you throw a two year tantrum and embarrassed your self's repeatedly.
All this is part of the agenda that was orchestrated and perpetutated on We The People, and too many of us are still too blind to wake up and see that.
'Despite the highest inflation in four decades, consumer spending is up higher than it's ever been' read the headlines. Of course it is. We got brain trained into panic shopping from that bullsht plandemic, which is still in force, just under new and slightly different guises now, and the guilty parties behind all that---the Super Rich, the same ones who own all the politicians and Capital Hill----want all the money. All of it. It's a level of greed we've never seen before, and it's just getting ramped up: we aint seen SHEEEIT yet.
Supply chain shortages? Bullsht. Look what happens every time something mysteriously vanishes due to that, then returns ----it's roughly 300% more expensive! Think that's a coincidence? There are warehouses TEEMING with sht that's being deliberately held back to keep pushing this artifically created market.
Anyway, yea.. get out of retail. Under the best of circumstances it---and the c u n t-o-mers who support it---suck nuts.

Staffing at my store is an joke, too.
There's 2 older women associates trying to smash with every guy regardless he's married or not. Then there's an teenager who's copying their behavior-doing similar things. Then customers be happy with their customer service because it makes them happy, but lie about other employees. Customers love these 3 women because they know how to make customers happy.
