Does Kroger ever terminated people who deserves it?

Does kroger ever terminated people from job position who deserves it?

  • The creepy employee who stalks all his crush from work
  • The creepy employee who talks pics of all female employee
  • The slackers who calls out all the time
  • The employee who does excessive time theft
  • and the list goes on.

Kroger proved over the decade on how they will break nice employees. Promote the slackers and transfer them.

I steal quite a bit from my kroger store. Well its not really stealing unless youre caught. Anyways, The creepy employee is justified so he/she gets a pass. The slackers or aka snitches should definitely be fired. The employee who takes pics of female employees is just doing that for the employee of the month thing. Nobody works hard at Kroger or is a great employee no such thing. Every one is in their phone texting, tik toking, facebooking or fartniting.

 You remind me of something....one of the stores here I 'aquire' merch from has a cashier who's like a Barney Fife / mall security type. She been there 1000 years. Gotta give it to her, the bitch got the eye of a fkin HAWK!

Welllll, I was in there one morning last week, doin my thing; saw she was there, knew I should just abort mission, but went ahead any way. NOPE. She come bum rushin my blind side, starts grabbin sht up and sayin 'you didn't scan this, this, this, this, this..' and starts scanning. I just stood silent. Waited til she was done and she smirks at me and LOUDLY proclaims 'NOW! That'll be---' and points to the displayed total. 

I laughed at her, walked away.............and came back the SAME GOT DAM DAY, about 2 hrs after she'd left.

And aquired about $30 more than I'd originally was going to. Just as a$$ hole tax.

This bitch prolly got a HNIC / 'Employee Of The Month!!' plaque back on the office wall. And for what biggrin

 I don't mind the snapchat while on shift, phone texting (not everyone has an radio) I've seen people using their apple watch to text...

There employee takes pic of female employees...are not employee of the month. It's hardly an employee under age 20

 I'm really not doing it to be an a$$hole or for the thrill of it or cuz I'm a clepto-freak or what ever. That lady cashier really is just doing her job---but she does it with such zest she makes herself a target of my ridicule.

It's important to me to note my reasons for doing this. The Super Rich are 100% in the process of ruling the world and owning all its inhabitants. This process got ramped up with the covid plan-demic, and it's accelerated to now where these fkers are owning and controlling the world's fuel and food supplies. There is no supply shortage. Just the Super Rich angling everything and all of us into a corner where they can price gouge the sht out of everything, own everything and everyone, and, like I said, rule the world.

Watch and see. Internet and Fakebook will be next. Why not? They're the largest and most vital tools of communication in human history.

So yea. I aquire sht. Anything I can get without paying, Ima keep doing it. Because this is the only way I'll be able to keep my head above water and continue to survive in this ever escalating landscape of price gouging.

Not a damn bit sorry for it, either.

I have seen termination for theft a couple of times. You need to refuse to stop. Mostly they just try to force people to quit if they act really crazy and will obviously cause liability problems, or if they think the person may be a law enforcement, legal office or other snitch. Attitude alone can get you a permanent harassment.

It takes a couple years to terminate people because of the union. About the only imitate terminations are:

Selling age restricted items to minors (tobacco, liquor, tobacco related products, rated r movies, select medications, select items...)

Stealing from the till. 

Physically assaulting a customer/employee.

Stopping customer theft. (This can be complicated. I work with 3 employees that should of been repeatedly fired for this but have not been.) 

 

There are a million small reasons people can be terminated but it takes a while for a case to build up against them. I worked with a gay black guy who was racist towards women (white women in particular) and it took us a while to professionally build a case against him. What got him in the end is he would physically assault us in little ways. Instead of going 10 ft to the left to avoid us he'd run into us pushing into us causing some of us injuries. Which could of been easily avoidable. He'd display extreme favoritism towards select individuals (generally of color) and the list goes on. He pulled the same b.s. with the customers as well. This eventually terminated him.

A person can be immediately terminated for the following: Stealing, including stealing time. Physically fighting with someone, including a shoplifter. Deliberate damage to store. employee, or customer property, including out on the parking lot.

I have never understood those who use their work opportunities to persecute women. This is terrible. I would immediately dismiss such employees. But sometimes there is a slander from women. So it's hard to understand what's really going on. My advice to those who are looking for a new girlfriend in the next department. Yes. Back when they fired a bunch of store managers here in division 14 the manager at store 933 and 759 got s-canned. They were cancers inside the company and upper management made the right decisions in getting rid of them.

Absolutely no. Had a guy called Chris work at Kroger for YEARS. He hits on every girl he sees and Absolutely no one likes him in the store not even managers. They moved him up front and present him from getting any other job in that store by hiring people from different stores. If their that petty just fire the guy. Surely they have enough just cause. Then again it's not like there's any managers that have a single brain cell including the store owner.

 stealing? Not very true. There's 2 employees that stole for 1 year and was not terminated. And the same with an employee who stole for 3+ years.

Yes but due to the union it takes 2 years to do it. 

The only things that = immediate termination are

Selling age restricted items to a minor.

Stopping a customer from stealing.

Stealing from the company. 

Violating company policy and procedures too much too often.

Too many customer complaints. 

Money laundering

Job abandonment

There's 2 employees that stole for 1 year and was not terminated. 

File an ethics report. i worked with someone who I suspected was pocket stealing. Turns out they were. Eventually they got lazy and he thought his disability would make him an exception from the rules. This eventually terminated him. It didn't help when he went to pay for lunch he'd pretend to be totally broke and people would feel sympathy for him and buy for him.  Don't defend him he was willingly doing this and probably still does. His karma finally caught up to him and now that he's an official adult he's serving jail time.

Our lead should of been terminated a long time ago. They keep playing hour games, abusing the system, calling out repeatedly, shows up for maybe 60% of their shifts for the month, .... When our lead shows up they're a grumpy @$$ hole who's displays extreme favoritism towards select staff. Refuses to step down from lead because they've been in that position for a long time. Their attendance has gotten so bad they've duplicated their shift knowing that they'll call out. 

My store has multiple people think their above the system. However, the manager has started punishing people who have started to do this. Eventually it gets to a point where enough is enough and you have to make a decision to carry out the punishment protocol.
