Someone printed the schedule for this week before it had been adjusted. That stupid thing had people coming in at one o'clock in the morning one day and then coming in 12:30 PM the next day. Nobody had a normal schedule. The people who wrote the software have no clue as to the individual needs of each department. We certainly don't need people coming in the middle of the night.
Create a availability time frame in which you can work. I worked a few jobs where If i didn't create restrictions to only work me from 7 am - 11 pm I would do ****ty swing shifts that I mentally can/could not do.
If you're a floater you sort of get what you get. yes your schedule will be all over the place. It is possible to get a full 40 in this line of work. You just have to kiss your family and personal time and sleep good bye. This works if you can fall asleep the second you lay your head to the pillow. Most people can't do that.
