So every now and then, I make a trip to my local Kroger. Although it's been years since I worked there, I was a courtesy clerk and part of that was the dreaded cart retrieval.
Sometimes when I get there and see a corral overflowing with carts not because of the employees, but clearly because customers were dumbasses, I will take a few minutes to clear the area and line up the carts. I'll even go so far as to see if I can find the poor bastard out there at the moment, and let him or her know.
I've always been waiting for the manager to come out and whine to me about doing it as a customer. But, I guess that's not going to happen considering they've got better things to do like watch over the two registers left that are actually manned by a human being.

A grown customer making like 65K salary told an courtesy clerk that he could get it himself. I don't know why the grown customer making 65k salary be complaining. He also complain to store manager that he was getting marry soon so he deserve VIP. Well, I told his future wife the type of man he be marrying...seen the look on her face. :)
