True. The good and decent managers ALWAYS go. The horrible crap managers ALWAYS stay. If they want to lower morale and have a HIGH turnover, then keeping crappy managers on board is the way to go.
However if they want to raise morale and have a decent workplace then...wait...nevermind. Good managers=Leave
Bad managers=Stay

I dont wanna offend anyone by saying this, but it's simple economics: retail work is unskilled labor. You literally can be illiterate and sustain this job.
That's why to retail H.O.s everywhere, it's a numbers game, and why they push management to lead with fear and intimidation. They truly don't care if you quit and, if you've been there a long time, would quite rather you did.
Plus, they've learned over the past 2 yrs of the Plan-demic, with its radically reduced staffing which has spun off into extra innings, and for reasons seperate from the outset, that they can not only get by with almost no crew----but that their profits have EXPLODED because of it.
And that is why they have no prob firing yo asses and continually replacing everyone. It's all about the money, and the money only.
Always has been, always will be. YOUR task is to strengthen your job marketing position so you don't have to keep being victimized by this.
