I average 21 hrs part time in arkanas working as cashier. would I be able to get insurance still?
You need to ask your hiring manager or office person that takes care of the HR stuff for the store. I have seen them give a part time employee a piece of paper saying they are eligible for insurance.
Each contract for each division and some districts have different rules for insurance.
My division only provides ancillary benefits to employees that average between 20 and 27 hours a week. Dental, Vision, Life and sick pay benefits. You need to be employed for at least 12 months.
Don't be stupid. Go to ufcw.org and look up your contract. It's f'n in there. Please read and do your homework! The union just refers people to the digital copy. Before covid I would always make sure to grab a copy of the book before I left.
60 hrs a month for single roughly 20-25 hrs a week 8 hrs shift a week minimum.
80 hrs for family.
Insurance rolls over month to month. So if you fail to get enough hours it's active next month but the month after it terminates.
Is only accessible during September enrollment months to make changes. Sucks but I got hired in in april and had zero insurance until sept. Till then I had to keep my personal plan going the nI could cancle that one.
I also have insurance, the most advanced option. I bought this one because I can afford it. I make good money investing in stocks.
