Have you called them about that? Try any other job in your area if the Kroger you are looking at not calling you back.
When job hunting I'd highly suggest to be efficient and pester them about it. Call the store back asap and ask about the hold up.
When job hunting I've learned to have multiple employment options and I accept the best fitting one that gets back to me first. if a company drags their feet more than a week I move on. I can't wait 2 months for employment offer.
This is why it is wise to line up a new job and make sure you get it and can keep it before quitting the old one. Don't just go I'm quitting. This is dangerous. If you don't care what you work you can easily get a minimum wage job by end of week or end of month. If you limit your self it can take longer. Back in 2008 it wasn't uncommon to apply for 100+ jobs only to hear back from 5-20 of them if at all. Eventually due to this conundrum I had to settle for kroger as all my career jobs were being taken by higher seniority individuals.
