I'm a courtesy clerk who works opening shift. Sometimes I'll be at the store before I clock in and talk to one of the overnight crew that used to work with me before they were transferred. Apparently corporate implemented some new rules for that department. I don't know what those rules are but I was told that the crew tried to talk some sense to the manager but the manager wouldn't have any of it. And one result of this new policy is the aisles are piled with back stock. I can already hear the complaints coming from customers and doesn't day shift have plenty to do without having to bear the burdens of overnight crew?

Day crew is lazy as hell as does nothing but the bare minimum its pathetic
Contract corporate. They'll straighten it out. I had a similar scenario. pallets had to be off the floor by 9 am due to being an A class store. If n.c. so much left any boxes on the aisles they'd get coached to by management for not picking up their cra--p. My location n.c. has started fighting with the hapa individuals and they refuse to stock their crap on the haba aisle. The haba person is only responsible for so much and the cr--ap that n.c. is refusing to do is their assigned shi--t. A union grievance straighten that out. As a c.c. you are by no means responsible for n.c.'s shi--t. Your job duties only allow you to do very few things.

OP here. It was corporate that did this. And I found out that management is supposed to help pick up the back stock. And like I said before, the main store manager decided that day shift should do it. And while I'm not responsible, it is difficult trying to navigate the aisles that have several boxes of product on the floor.
