How to stop schedule writer from printing select-a-sched on tuesday instead of fri?

I work at a sizable store where about 20 people need to pick on the select-a-schedule. For the most part for years they've been good at printing it Thursday or Fri afternoon. After a change in management they're lazy and often forget to print it. They now don't print it until Mon or Tue afternoon. I'm highly considering filing a union grievance because it causes people to scramble pick last minute.

I often go out of town on my days off and our most senior staff don't work weekends but if they print it thur/fri they're/we're all there. Those in the middle often take weekdays off and are never around for the select-a-schedule. We call and have to waist half our day repeatedly calling the store to see if it's our turn to pick.

I'm highly considering filing a union grievance against the store because of this. This b.s. has been going on almost a year and we're all sick of it but no one will do anything about it and I'm tired of being verbally harassed by the schedule writer for b.s. outside of my control.

No one seems interested in replying so...

I'll just file a union grievance against my store the next time they do this b.s.

I am not familiar with the Select a Schedule format.  I am assuming that you pick the days you are able to work.

Yes, file a union grievance if the store managers will not correct the issue.

Each contract is different.  I looked up mine today for a coworker.

In my district, the schedule is supposed to be posted on Thursday by 6pm.  Changes can be made until Friday, by 3pm, for the next weeks schedule.

If you use MyTime, you might be able to print out your own schedule.  I can give you directions if you like.
