I am a new hire, I went through some computer training today without anyone there. They told me to just show up and do the training. Tomorrow I have a 8-hour shift, what should I do when I finish the computer training? I'm totally lost, they barely gave me any info. The only person that I have contact with is the hiring manager, who is on vacation and is not answering my emails. Please Help.
Just show up when you're scheduled, ask for the manager on duty, explain to them what you did to us, and do your best. That's all anyone in your situation can do.
She also has me doing computer training at a location that isn't even the one that I'm working at, which is kinda weird.
It's not weird. If your town has multiple stores, 1 is usually the "training" store. My town only very recently went to training in the store where you actually are going to be working.
