I saw a job posting for File Lead at a Kroger store in the Fort Worth area. Does anybody know what the pay rate might be for a job like that? I currently make 16.55 an hour, which is top pay for my department, so I'm just wondering if it would be any more money than what I'm currently making.
What does the company claim they do? We could then tell you how little we would accept. Bearing in mind that the job description may be pure legal fantasy.

File leads are also know as scan coordinators. They typically have to work overnight changing tags and signs. Some do payroll too. You need to check your contract for the pay rate. In Louisville unqualified scan coordinators make an extra 75 cents an hour on top of their normal rate. Qualified scan coordinators make between $18.20 and $19.25. The rate is determined by the store's total sales, not including fuel.
