Be more thankful when employees get you items from the back. Thank you.
I've had multiple people go crazy on me for trying to do the good deed and go out of the way to get items for people they request. No good deed goes unpunished at Kroger. This b.s. is what makes me loose respect for humanity.
Yea I used to be one of the 'nice guys'----no more. Too many years of the sht you say ruined that for me forever.
Now? Everything's in aisle 6. Everything. Said over my quickly reteating shoulder as I'm scurrying off to do the other 9000 tasks of my job.
If I'm feelin a moody, I'll play with em a lil'. 'Gimme a quick minute sir, I'll go check in the back'. Bonus minutes back there if they get sh i t t y and say something like 'well, HURRY UP!'
I'll stay back there...I dunno. I think 40 minutes was my erecord, once. Come back out, of course they're gone----one time I had one who'd just gone to other side of the store, saw me, and came tearing off after me. Me: 'Ohhh, THERE you are! Been lookin all over, hahahaha...so sorry sir, but ____ just isn't back there. S'posed to be on tonight's truck, be on the shelf first thing tomorrow.
Its your job. if you associates would actually stock the shelves you wouldnt have to go to the back to look for stock YOU should have worked. I swear associates are just plain lazy these days.
