Because nobody wants to read stupid ass posts about Value Me customers, racist posts, etc. To me they're MORE annoying than the spam posts about 'to write a great essay go to xxx site.'

Mods can only do so much. They have lives too.
I dont see racist posts. And the customers pay your living but Id expect as much from ungrateful associates
When people think every post is a spam post or troll you need to get a life. I might visit this site twice a mo at most. This site gets so few posts it might seem like the same 30 people are reposting on it.
If forum tools allowed you to prohibit necro-posting, that would at least be a good start.
Bringing back old posts have not been much of a problem unless the bots do it and once the spam is removed it goes back to the depths. We could lock them and send them back but normally if the person is beinging back long dead posts for the heck of it they generally do stupid stuff to get banned soon anyway.
If you think it's a problem we're always up for community feedback.
