The annoying part right now (originally post date of this post) is that esced is off line a lot and barely works right now. Employees have lives to plan around work and they can not plan day off requests with it being off line so much. At best. I have used My Time with other companies and it's hit or miss at if you'll like it or hate it. Personally I would like control of my 2 days a week off again. As our department schedule writer had us all over the place and didn't mind screwing us over with long work weeks. This will prevent that. I like rotating random because I am not restricted to set schedules for doing things. However they are forcing full time on me and I have a life outside of work and this isn't working. I've been trying to put in availablity request update since esced went to unreliable starting in Feb (24) and I'm sort of getting pissed at this.
It's random luck if your schedule writer will see your availability request. And, even if they do, it is only a request.
I get availability change requests from courtesy clerks. I do not write schedules and do not work on the front end. I do not think their schedule writer
is seeing their requests.
Same with requesting days off. Most are never approved or denied. Like the schedule writer never sees them.
