Cant drink anything at register

One of my coworkers told me that security came tuesday and told all the cashiers that no drinks or food are allowed at the registers ( I understand the food tho but drinks) Do ppl realize that some ppl need to drink something if they have medical conditions or something like endometriosis or just get hot flashes here and there?

A person with a medical reason for having to have water or other beverage with them all the time, although I can't imagine what that would be, should get a note from their doctor.  As for the rest of you, stop being such big babies.  A bunch of whiny brats is what you really are.

Security? Tell the to **** off tThey dont even work there. Only reasons I can think of is Kroger doesnt want people eating and drinking in front of customers and the drinks can spill and ruin electronics. security has no say so and should be told to **** off and watch the store for stealing.

This happened in our store. Cashier with a medical issue needed water. Went to the Union-she got her water and the store got a warning

I only drink at the register to stop the withdrawals.

Plenty of water too.

Sounds like every kroger store will go through this "no water bottles" at registers. But bottom line, we are allowed to have water with lid covering the opening. (No sodas with those pop lids)

I've asked the Union and the water container must have an lid.

All food and beverages will be ate and drink on breaks. associates are clumsy buffoons and will spill the water on the machines. Drink before work.
