When I'm working the deli counter by myself on busy Sundays ,which comes first - clicklist or the customers waiting at the counter? It gets frustrating when I have several customers waiting and staring at me and clicklist people are demanding that I stop and help them. Some managers tell me counter comes first, of course clicklist says they come first.

The people already at the deli counter come first. When you finish with them, then you can take care of Click List. If a customer comes up to the deli counter while you're filling a Click List order, they can wait until you finish with the Click List order. But never walk away from a customer who's been waiting to be served.
If you are in a big store hours should not matter. I warn you about click list the hours in that department are down severely from where they were during covid years when the company booted up the service. You will most likely be picking up extra hours as a floater between grocery clerk departments. (unless your store has that department opted out of the union). Hours can range from 30 at most (not even the lead in our store is getting full time) to as low as 10 hrs a week. Deli is a better choice even though you do a cr---ap load of work and not respected greatly by society.
