I hate to say it but could you people please start on time. My store had to start  cracking down on people abusing the 7 min time clock lenience because we kept getting people clock in at 7 min after start of shift, take 5-10 min to come down and it's like 20 min in before they're at post. Yes, we'd all love to not work an hour of our day a week but still get paid for it but that's not why it's there. It's if you are running late due to traffic or your alarm didn't go off or some thing kept you from leaving on time. If you make this mark you can still get paid. It's not there to abuse. When ever everyone or half the store abuses it they crack down on it. 

So long as you get your work done they don't seem to mind if you leave 7 min early.
