Tired of being exhausted due to the fact kroger refuses to hire sufficent help

I fear with the potential of the could be merge(2024) kroger is refusing to fully staff stores and exploiting staff into exhaustion. Which is unhealthy for your staff and putting a negative image on your staff thus resulting them into quitting or moving on. My call outs have increased again mostly due to exhaustion. This bs really does not make me want to stay kroger. If you can not honor health insurance hours due to being short staffed I will go to another company that will honor that.

Empty threat and even then no loss of you leave. You can be easily replaced to do the easy work a monkey could do. The work isnt even hard especially when associates take 11 breaks throughout their shift and spend 2 or more hours on their phone. Quit.

I'm the one who wrote this and I am just going to say please go back to calling out once a month unless you have horrid attendance. Life is too short to be spent working to exhaustion because kroger refuses to hire enough staff. Come 2025 when my fall quarter restrictions end I am going to set one day a week off as a permanent day off request for ever and request a 3-4 day off stretch more often. Even if it goes without pay. It's really not worth this bs any more

This is really good advice. Life is short and you only live once. Dont waste it and be miserable at this place.
