The longer I work for kroger the more and more I see their caproate greed and how it affects the workers at the store level. The store level workers the the shot in the foot, treated like cr--ap from both the customers and the employer and have to suck it up. I'm glad I stepped down in hours because I got sick of this dog and pony sh--it show. Caproate keeps making fantasy policies and then realizes no one wants to do them so they haras--s staff about it then threaten with write ups if they don't comply. I hate to say it but I'm glad I stepped down to a volunteer worker. I feel sympathy for the rest of my coworkers who actually need to live on this income but can't. Now that I hit a mile stone marker with my company I think I'll start seeking future career options. I see no reason to remain with this company any longer. I am well rounded, educated and this company just wants to dumb us down and keep us repetitively scared financially to the point where we can't do sh--it about it. Rodney preaches lies and practices the opposite of what he says. We're nothing but easily disposable numbers replaceable with minimum wage workers and you've made that clear upon multiple demonstrations through out my 20 yrs with the company. I don't really want to start over and learn a new line of work and start bottom again but I see all the cr--ap you throw at us and try to hide. This job honestly isn't worth it any more.
