What do you do when your district and store management start requiring you work differently than corporate policy?
Specifically we are now being told to full face condition instead of kroger corporate L conditioning. It takes longer and makes everything more difficult (counts, stocking)
Can I be written up for sticking with the official training?
Yes, you could be written up for insubordination if the store managers feel like it.
District and store management can dictate how you condition. Whenever a new district coordinator or store manager comes in, they like to set their own rules.
Before we had 40 packs of kroger water, I had one store manager that insisted that we hand stack pallets of water on the floor in the foyer instead of dropping the pallet. Glad he went to another location... Had a Grocery coordinator that wanted everything block face conditioned so where the pegboard was not visible. Wasn't easy covering up the pegboard on the top shelf. I am glad that coordinator was promoted elsewhere. Currently, the rule in my district is to block face the top and bottom shelves. Everything must be 3 forward on the middle shelves. We block face top and bottom shelves in the canned aisle but avoid it in the other aisles. Everyone went back to 2 forward and nothing was said.

Thanks. I'm hopeful this fill in manager will be moving on in a couple of weeks. We're supposed to get a new store manager so we'll see if they're better or worse than the last two who have been awful.
