Yep, mine said $18.00 at age 65. I've worked for the company for 18 years; 16 of which as a full-timer.

Yeah, I just got the same letter.  My recent monthly benefit is $80.

But, There is more to my pension.  I do not know if you two have the same issue going on.

I am part of two pension funds.  The new pension started in 2020.  My recent letter is for the pension that started in 2020.  When I log into the pension site, there is a way to see the other pension benefit amount.  They are both supposed to be on the website.  There is a button on the site to switch between the two pensions.  But, I can not find online records of the new pension.  Maybe it hasn't been uploaded yet.

I just called the number on the letter and was told that The zenith site is only for the old pension fund.  I see a toggle between the old and new fund on the site but she said that I will need to make an account from the website on the current letter to see the new pension account online.  But, the link takes me to the zenith website that I already logged into.

The new pension is "Industry annuity pension fund".  Do your letters start the plan year at 7-20-6/21?

The old pension before 2020 is "National pension fund".  My benefit is $335.  Added together and My benefit is $415.  It might be over $500 by the time I retire plus $1900 from social security.

Send an email to your union rep and ask if you have two pensions.

Check for yourself:

https://edge.zenith-american.com  Create account as Participant.  I recommend going thru your union website but this is the link I used.

Good time to go to the Social security website to make sure you have worked enough credits and see your current benefits.  Some believe the benefits will be gone by the time we retire but I am being optimistic.  Welcome | Login.gov  I also recommend going thru the social security website for this too but this is the link I used.

Interesting. I emailed our union the other day and was told there's no way for them to see it or know how it's calculated. Just gave me 2 numbers to call which I haven't yet. I'll have to look into the 2 different pensions.

ha.  The union handbook shows how it is figured.  Bunch of jibberish to average people tho.

In 2022, my benefit was $34 and I freaked out.  Can't even afford to eat dogfood on that amount... I recalled it being closer to $300 for previous years.   I sent the union Rep an email and he said that there were two pension funds and the paperwork I was looking at was for the new fund.  The new fund started in 2020.

I am a department manager and work some OT.  My new pension benefit seems to increase by $17 annually.  The old pension benefit is frozen at $335.

I am not sure what platform your union uses so that you can see your benefits.  My union uses Zeineth-american.  I think both of my pension accounts information should be able to be accessed thru that site but it isn't set up properly yet.  The customer service lady I spoke to yesterday said the exact opposite of what I was seeing on the site.

I put very little into the pension and my work 401k. I have my personal roth I put the max value into and it's grown a hell of a lot more than union pension and work 401k.
