Coworker makes racist comments. What to do?

I've been hearing my coworker making racist comments to customers lately and no one seems to care nor bother reporting them. I've seen customers offended. If this post offends you sorry but yes this sh--it happens. I'm just wondering if I should report it as it's an ongoing issue?

Here's the latest batch of comments:

customer black. coworker white middle aged.

Coworker "Oh, I see you got a tan today."

Customer "No I've always been like this." Shakes head due to the offensive comment. Walks off.

Okay. What the F* do you do in this scenario if this is an ongoing issue with a coworker? She's one of those middle aged coworkers who isn't the most "friendly" to work with.

Don't go around accusing someone of racism, whether it's true or not, unless it happens to you directly.  You'll find yourself having to deal with more than you bargained for.

You do nothing because management will do nothing. This comment is one of those brush off those shoulders. It's not offensive like during pandemic when I witness an Caucasian shopper in a vehicle trying to crash into an employee due to media drama.

When you tattle on someone, you're not just tattling on them.  You're tattling on yourself.  And when you tattle on yourself, you're just saying, "I'm a tattletale."  Now is that the tale you want to tell?
