On the old esced website, the sick pay equation would average 8 hrs for every 40 worked. On this new system it sucks. I average 32 hrs a week and I only gain about 1.25 hrs for every 8 hrs worked. It would take a year of not calling out once to accrue a full damn bank. I did call the union about this when we first shifted over and they said the equation changed and they couldn't do squat about it.

I don't really have sympathy for those that have zero sick pay zero vacation. These people always drain it the second they get it. Where as those of us that are more ethical workers get the short end of the stick and it doesn't really make me feel valued as an employee.
