My store is talking about changing store hrs again due to lack of staff. It started out with management quoting this. After several conference calls it might be legit. It will probably take effect next year.

The Kroger Corporation is at it again. Now they are punishing their employees who refused to accept a COVID jab. Much like health care workers and first responders who have been stripped of their hero status and, in many cases, their jobs over their decision to opt-out of accepting the COVID jab, unva...

To the elderly lady that harassed my autistic low functioning c.c. yesterday: You suck. Being elderly and anit-computer you probably will never read this but It's going up here. You're becoming a fu-cken karen. I'm glad age keeps you from common in here less frequently. How low can you get to hara$$...

Our manager here told me that it's against company policy to color your hair "an unnatural color " but when I looked at the company rules and guidelines, it doesn't say anything like that, is he right or just being an ass? I have known people who worked at this store in the past that had their hair totally...

Last night I had a customer come in and be an @$$ about a price. He kept making up stories about how he was this store last week and it was that price. I told him we couldn't price honor other stores within the company. Even if it's our sister store up the road. A lot of stores do flash sales and others do not. I'...

My district is talking about closing our stores at 9 or 10 pm due to lack of staff. Just means we'll get pissy customers that try to slip into the store after we close. I've stopped being in the register 20 min prior to closing because we mostly get small orders and I'm tired of customers walking up with a d...

I understand about social distancing and whatnot, but this asshat came in today and whilst standing in line, I got in line behind him. I was far enough back and he said "sir, can you step back a bit, mind social distancing? He was borderline rude about it and even snapped at a other co-worker who just walk...

I would love to hear from everybody on this. Does Rodney and the upper Kroger Corporate bigwigs REALLY KNOW AND UNDERSTAND all about the phoniness that surrounds the Store Walks, especially the Holiday Walks? Like, how the store managers force the employees to rush around, and get overtime, clean...

With theft being out of control and more and more stores closing over it it, do you see a day coming when virtually everything is on line pre pay and curb dash? do you think that would be cost effective?

At my store today we had an open house, with all sorts of corporate types walking the store for a few hours. We've been driven crazy with extra cleaning and stuff to do for this and several corporate people themselves have been helping to get things ready. Very little to no overtime has been allowed an...

Another development since last I was on this site: One of the Kroger stores in my town went uder a few yrs ago. It had been in business since 1958 and had served countless thousands of area residents. The reason? Out of control theft. By the end, people were strolling right out the front with carts burst...
