Last Thanksgiving I bought one of those meal kits and it tasted nasty and dried out-the food was unedible and I threw it out

Kroger's can't seem to keep managers. One store had two co mangers just quit and walk out within two weeks of each other. Last week a store leader just walked off the job after a visit from corporate. Another gave their two week notice this week. Are store managers quitting or just walking out in other ar...

My store just had six new SCOs installed last week which makes a total of 22. (We're a big two-story store...no Scan, Bag, and Go). Well, the new ones look exactly like the other 16 that we already had (Toshiba System 6) but they installed a new feature that I actually really love. We can still use the bulk...

I'm tempted to cow tip fat ones at Kroger on scooters. There's no excuse for that:

Seriously, why would you all defend creepy customers and their behavior? What does it get you? Why not stick up for other Kroger employees posting here about their experiences like this. This website is supposed to be for venting about stuff like this and getting support and I see people defending cr...

I come back from one week vacation to find out our store is opening one hour earlier now at 5AM. I thought Kroger was trying to get away from 24 hour or close to it operation. The folks to work the fuel center at our store are furious-they have to now be there to open up at 4:45AM. My FES told me that "Kroger rea...

Pain in the ass. My boss's boss had to log me on and I had to stay on for a full hour while my boss is asking where I am. We have nothing to spare. Starts with a survey. Is everything okay or really great? Then a disclaimer, cause this ugly video game may contain 'triggers' if you have ever suffered on sit...

What becomes of Kroger? If socialism becomes the new way of life in the United States would that mean Kroger management gets replaced with government control of the means of production? Will the Federal government let Kroger management stay put, and let Kroger management determine the means of pr...

Had the general manager of a particular Kroger store that I use to work at, approach me and stayed 10-15 yards away and just stare at me when I began shopping. When I looked back, he looked at the ground. When I started shopping again, and looked back I caught him looking at me again. When he saw me again h...

Back in April of 2017, I fell for a Western Union Fraud scam. As soon as I realized what happen, I went straight to my manager and told her everything that happen and all that I knew. Everyday we signed our daily logs stating that we are not suppose to take a call from Western Union. After speaking to the co...

So Monday I come back off Vacation. I see people walking around in their PJ's. At first I didn't say anything. Then someone asked why I didn't dress for tacky day. I told them I was 47 years old I come to work not to play. I do respect the fact 9-11 was Red White and Blue day though.

The other day I had a scenario where one was leaving decided to hop out of the area not not tell any one. So their post was abandoned for a few minutes. Customers confused and line starting to form. Instead of telling the plus one extra individual on duty that it's time to swap places they instead they make...

The union and the kroger are patting each other on the back but will not ever address issues not spelled out in the new contract. Get a real job. Let everyone know how it is. Humiliating and the kroger will retaliate but fight on! Dont apply dont evern visit the on line site.

We had to toss out 5 lbs of bulk oat meal because a customer could not multiply 1 x 1. He originally brought up two bags of oat meal totaling close to 3 lbs and thought it was too expensive. He passed on it and we have to toss out bulk once it leaves the container. He spends 10 minutes reading his receipt and goe...

Maybe 1/3 of our SCO attendant's job is telling people to hit the card button (or just doing it for them). Is it some legal/liability thing or just stupid Kroger software not recognizing the card is in the machine? Do other stores do the same thing?

Primarily interested in what you schedule yourself to work on during the day. Thanks!
