I work part time in the Deli at Fred Meyer and I had a few paychecks that didn't look correct but I can't for the life of me find how I can verify whether they were correct or not. I worked about ~35 hours one week and only took home about $265 with my salary being $10.70/hr. Does that seem right??

Been at my store well over a year... And I want to now try my hand at another department. I can't stand the belittlement and overall rudeness I've lately gotten from my supervisors... Any and ALL times I'm asked to stay longer... I have. Every. Single. Time. I might not always answer my phone when I'm c...

HEB is opening two new stores in Tarrant County Texas, and has bought land for four more stores in this area. I can't wait!! I hope they build one closer to me. I would gladly give up shopping at Kroger and Walmart.

So I'm over in the ATL division, and tonight we're expected to get freezing rain starting at 1 a.m. or so in my area with the temperature not hitting above freezing till 8 a.m. Which means if it freezes badly to the roads then I probably won't be able to get my truck out of the driveway. Considering I'm sch...

Does anyone know what channels I need to go thru in order to transfer to a store in north or South Carolina? Thanks

Got a few questions for the cashiers here who deal with this. I was trained by a CSM a month an a half ago as a UC to do alcohol runs on the registers if the cashier is underage and we need help (Which generally I don't "think" we as UC's can do as our union contract says we shall never run or load a reg...

At my store a floral clerk and produce clerk have moved up to the front end. They both have obtained full-time status, so they get 40hrs every week and I noticed that every part timer is suffering, not because they need days off/requested off. I have gotten less hours since this happened as well, but I ha...

Well a Right to Work Bill was vetoed today by the Governor and quickly overridden by the state legislature. Barring any court challenges it will become law in 90 days.

I've called it a gun for 10 years and I'm not going to start calling it a RF handheld because some pussy is offended by guns or afraid I'm talking about a different kind of gun. Why should I have to change to be more sensitive for someone else. They can just stop being a wuss

So, I just did a week of night shift to cover for someone's vacation. Looked today on eSchedule and discovered that I'm doing it again Saturday night, after thinking tonight would be my last one. I had requested Sunday off for Valentine's Day, so this is like a slap in the face because I had plans and it's...

well now that they've begun writing up department heads when one of their workers get injured, they've opened the door for all kinds of whackiness. One of our young lads was stocking on a bottom shelf near the end of the aisle not long ago when an old lady whipped into the aisle with a motorized cart and h...

I've yet to see this rule in writing personally, but some of the employees saw it on a desk upstairs one day. It was for the front end only apparently and said that if anyone had to use the loo, they'd have to take their break to do so. I don't think they can do this but with all these whacky new rules they're...

I guess the union is done paying for wal-mart smear stories until we get this fixed. Kroger's worst nightmare is to let the public know they pay their employees less. They will make this go away quick if they are smart.

Started working there last year...Have been working 40 hours since I started and apparently the deli and bakery are connected so I can't get full time status because the bakery has filled all the positions. A lot of people come to our store for the food the chef makes from scratch, like the ham salad, chicken salad, crab cakes, pasta salad etc. But now they're getting rid of all that. I don't get it, it was a draw for some customers who say they come out of their way to this kroger to get that stuff. The ham salad i...

I hate it when they can't separate the plastic bags so they lick their fingers to separate them. My cashier yesterday did this, twice. Then touched all my food, my receipt, etc. I always used some hand sanitizer. To me, this is right up there with money in your bra, especially in the summer when it's...
