Hi so Im updating my previous post. I work in the pharmacy and the pharmacy manager has since moved from putting cell phones in a basket to putting them in a divider. Is it within company policy to make us do this? How can I stand my ground?

It's contradicting belief. It just means habitual theft will come in and exit with that they want.
