it seems like ads are everywhere at kroger. on the carts, on displays, on the receipts and on the damn commercials. where should we put our ads next? i think that in order to satisfy kroger's goal of covering the entire store in ads, we should think outside of the box. post if you have any new ideas.

they use that exact line. Well it's not in anybody's contract that "you will tie bales" but you know what, it's part of the grocery store job and you use the thing, what makes you think you don't have to tie the ****er? Every dept is swamped these days with reduced hours.

They're supposed to be opening the new deli and bakery section in less than a week. We've been told they need to hire at least 15 more people in order to run the place smoothly. How many have they hired so far? Zero, and they said it would be four weeks before they do anything about it.

Who do I talk to if they messed up my check? manager or who?

you know the one's up front with the flashing red lights that go off when someone steals something, well do your stores actually stop and engage those customers that set the alarms off? Ours don't; they just go up and shut the alarm off. I guess they're so busy that they can't afford to check for theft...

My fiancé put his two weeks notice in about 7 months ago and wanted to come back Kroger. He was wondering if he would be able to get his pay back. He worked for Kroger for 4 years. I heard about people getting rehired at the pay rate they left at. Is that possible?

eschedule has been giving seniority to those folks who once (in the past) held a dept head position (over other --non dept head--employees who have worked at the company longer). I found out today that this practice is WRONG. People with more seniority (based on hire date) are being screwed out of d...

I posted awhile back about certain cell phone stories. Here is a new one going on at my store: We got a new manager about three months ago. Very nice older man, but an absolute idiot. I noticed a couple days after he started that his wife would call on his cell phone and he would answer it on the floor, obli...

As a cashier here people seem to make $11-$13 dollars - how about in eugene? How much do you pay for health insurance? Here it is $10 a we...
