We were swamped on Saturday due to the weather forecast. I even saw the store manager bagging. Apparently they had only one person working at the customer service desk. I'm working back in the bakery. Deli was swamped too. The bakery phone rings and I answer it. It's some idiotic woman standin...

Has anyone else out there noticed a trend of people from other countries using Food Stamps and Wic. I live in an area where we have a good size population of people from around the world. Please don't take me the wrong way. I have nothing against these people. I just can't understand why we have children g...

I think it's funny that the Kroger company has the money to buy a bunch of Cincinnati Bengals tickets (ok they're going to military families which is nice and all but a football game shouldn't be anyone's priority) while they screw over all the employees in the week after the holidays.

Are any other Kroger stores getting these? I just came back from vacation on Tuesday and found out about this bs. We have to wear these overshoes over our own shoes even if we already have slip resistant ones. They're really heavy and bulky and walking in them feels weird. I got the biggest size because I...

I had a no call no show because I have been under a lot of stress lately because my mother is in the hospital and I was getting calls from my sister updating what's happening to her Friday night and worrying me and I forgot to double check the schedule time I was to come in for Saturday that night... Which...

Within the last 3 months, there was a post on ordering with CAO. I am unable to find it. Someone gave info on how to set the forecasting and I want to try to use that info for our store. We have some products that are over forecasting and other products that are under forecasting.

I have top seniority at Kroger . When someone calls off or is a no show, am I first in line to cover that shift even though it would be over time for me ? Or can my head ask to work other employee's that are already working to stay and get the OT?

I'm full time status. I've been on medical leave and had two weeks of unused vacation left. The year has ended and it did not carry over. Is it gone for good or do they owe it to me? I'm still on medical leave.

my manager has a bottle of rum next to her desk and drinks at work... it literally sits right on the floor and she doesn't even try to hide it. She is all about doing things "by the book" and is constantly getting onto me for not following some rule.. what would you do?

I've worked on night crew for 6 years. The hours are starting to wear on me and I'd like to transfer to meat/seafood or frozen or dairy or really any other full-time job during the day. If I ask the store manager for one, am I likely to get one?

I know this is not discussed much here, but I just wanted to thank a guy that I know who worked for Kroger. I knew him for well over a decade. He was one of the hardest-working people I've ever seen in my life. He was a bagger, yes, but he could run circles around so many of you so quickly it would make your head s...
